Fans recently saw David Corenswet in the Man of Steel costume for the first time. Gunn disclosed on social media that Jes Miglio took the first look picture on set.
Despite being a new Superman in the new DC Universe, the outfit doesn’t seem all that new, with the weapons and the recognized “S” emblem looking dated. The costume appears old and dusty, which is the first thing fans notice.

The new suit is receiving mixed reviews from public. “It’s not awful, but why does it appear wrinkled or baggy? Before making a choice, we need a new photo,” writes a user on Instagram.
As soon as the image was made public, fans of the superhero character flocked to the comment box. While many were thrilled and impressed by the movie’s first look, others weren’t happy with the image that was made public.
“I looooove the suit, the background, the color, the mood—everything! Very happy! ,” a second person said.
A fan expressed his affection by saying, “I’m not a big fan, honestly, it looks so loose.”
A higher quality image with more light is what many fans are waiting for. “Maybe because of the light, but the suit looks really loose on them.”
The Superman movie will be a huge break for Corenswet.His supporting roles in Netflix series, Hollywood, and The Politician have made him well-known. He has also become well-known for his role as screen queen Mia Goth’s co-star in the TV show Pearl.
In addition to Corenswet, significant roles in Superman are also played by Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, and Nathan Fillion.
On July 11 of next year, the movie is scheduled to open in theaters.
