Mamta attacks on Narendra Modi after Sexual harassment Allegation
The West Bengal governor, C.V. Anand Bose, is accused of a sexual harassment allegation that was made in Kolkata. However, due to constitutional protection, the police are unable to even look into the issue or name the governor as a suspect.
Along with after sexual harassment allegation expressing surprise, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee questioned why Prime Minister Narendra Modi avoided speaking about this matter during his visit to Raj Bhavan last night.
Kolkata: In the lead-up to the pivotal seven-phase election season, a female employee of Raj Bhavan filed a complaint on Thursday night accusing state Governor C.V. Anand Bose of harassing her. This unusual situation in Bengali politics puts the Trinamool government and the Governor’s office squarely against one another.
She reported two incidences to the police, saying that on April 19 she was instructed to see him with her supervisor and then on April 24 at 12:45 pm, she met him by herself.She lodged a complaint after the governor looked at her inappropriately The Governor also called her into his office on Thursday once more, but this time she requested her supervisor to go with her rather than going alone. After a while, the governor told the supervisor to leave, which worried the women, they informed the police. After being promised a promotion, she was touched on the cheek against her will.
“Disgusting and unthinkable, the sanctity of Raj Bhavan, representing our constitutionality, has been destroyed even before the Prime Minister arrived to spend the night there, the Governor allegedly harassed a woman,” the TMC wrote on its official Twitter handle. Work-related excuses are acceptable, but the most vehement condemnation of such heinous behavior is necessary. The victim should receive immediate justice without any justifications or delays. Finance Minister Bhattacharya denounced the alleged misconduct by the Governor, calling it a disgrace for a state dignitary, even before requesting an investigation from a special officer designated for the Chief of State.
The BJP’s reply was more subtle. Although it appears to be a political conspiracy, the center will act appropriately if the allegation is true. Assembly opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari, a BJP MLA, stated
