Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday evening held a historic road show in Patna, a BJP stronghold with two parliamentary constituencies of Patliputra and Patna Sahib. PM Modi did a grand two kilometer long road show in Patna. Modi, who became the first Prime Minister, was seen on Patna Road, the capital of Bihar. The Prime Minister’s road show started at 7:20 pm and continued till around 8:30 pm.

Along with the PM, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary also come on the chariot in the road show. For the first time a PM has done a road show in Patna. The Prime Minister’s road show started from Bhattacharya turn with conch shells and chanting of mantras and ended at Udyog Bhawan near Gandhi Maidan via SP Verma Marg, Exhibition Road, Bhattacharya Road, Pir Mohani Buddha Statue, Kadamkuan, Bari Path and Bakarganj.
Patna’s people excitement and houses looked decorated like Diwali
To welcome the Prime Minister, people on both sides of the road tried their best to decorate their houses like Diwali. People welcomed the Prime Minister from the windows by waving banners, hoardings and posters with slogans like ‘My house, Modi’s house…, My family, Modi’s family…’ written on the walls of the houses… and the crowd gathered on the roadside. The people standing there kept trying their best to see the Prime Minister closely.
PM Modi will rest for the night at Raj Bhavan
After the road show, the Prime Minister rested for the night at Raj Bhavan. At the same time, after waking up in the morning on May 13, the Prime Minister will take lemonade after yoga and after having breakfast of porridge, he will go to the Gurudwara of Patna City to pay obeisance. They will also taste langar in the Gurudwara. From the Gurudwara, the Prime Minister will directly reach Patna Airport and leave for the election campaign by helicopter.
