The same Sikandar Raza stayed till the end for his team and played an unbeaten innings of 72 runs with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes in 46 balls and returned only after winning the match for his team. Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin took one wicket each for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh team won the first four matches of this T20 series, but in this match, they lost by 8 wickets. Due to this questions have been raised on the team’s preparations for the T20 World Cup because Zim could not even qualify for the T20 World Cup. At the same time, the Bangladesh team is part of Group D in the T20 World Cup 2024, in which it has to play its first match against the Sri Lankan team on 8 June.
